Parabola allows you to automate your data processes by importing data from one or more sources, transforming it and pushing it through to another destination.
ParseHub is featured on Parabola as both a source and a destination:
- ParseHub Import allows you to import data from a project's latest run into a Parabola flow
- ParseHub Run allows you to run a ParseHub project from a Parabola flow
Sample Use Cases
There are endless automations you can create, but some examples include:
- Use data imported from ParseHub to update information on Salesforce
- Use information from Salesforce as search terms for your ParseHub project
- Use information from any database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) as starting values for your ParseHub project, for example, to search for a person or company on a directory
- Insert or update rows on a MySQL database with information scraped from ParseHub
- Export data scraped using ParseHub as a CSV file on Dropbox
- Import data scraped using ParseHub to your Geckoboard dashboards
- Use information from ParseHub to trigger emails with SendGrid or SMS messages using Twilio
- Scrape data from ParseHub, transform it (reorder, de-dupe, rename columns, format dates, convert to Google maps... etc.) and then export it as an updated CSV file
